Education & Public Engagement Programs
Through the initial spark of work begun by Fellows during their residency period — alone and in collaboration with others — many substantive public programs and events occur locally and internationally, some with immediate exposition and others with ongoing and long-term public presentation. Since the start of Sacatar’s Residency Fellowship program in 2001, more than 500 public programs and community activities have taken place locally, nationally, and abroad as a direct result of creative collaborations and partnerships guided by Sacatar.
