In July, the Seoul Museum of Art (SeMA) will host the exhibition “That’s How the Light Gets In”, a show comprised of photographs and other works by visual artist Sook Jin Jo. Sook Jin is a two-time Sacatar Fellow, having come joined us for our very first session, in 2001, and returning for another residency in 2007. The exhibition at SeMA will include the video work Crossroad, which the artist developed during her second residency at Sacatar, along with photos from a series of the same name, which were also produced during her time in Bahia.
To see work created at Sacatar, by one of our very first Fellows, displayed at a major museum feels like yet another celebration of our 25th anniversary!
The exhibition will be open to the public from July 29th to November 15th.
