Beya Gille-Gacha, a Sacatar Fellow in 2024, is curating the Cameroon Pavilion at the 61st Venice Biennale. In addition to her residency at Sacatar, Beya was a key participant in the project I Am a Black Ocean, supported by Sacatar, whose main exhibition in Salvador was visited by French President Emmanuel Macron in 2025.
