A Transcultural Artist Residency in Bahia, Brazil
Founded in 2001, Instituto Sacatar is the longest continuously-operating artist residency in Brazil. Since its inception, Sacatar has awarded fully-funded residencies to over 550 artists from all artistic disciplines, coming from more than 75 countries.
