On Friday, September 13, 2024, Sacatar had the pleasure of welcoming a diverse group of artists and artivists to join its current resident artists for a special lunch and an afternoon of conversations. Among the guests were ceramic artist Hilda Salomão; artist and teacher Sersi Bardari; members of the Women of Odun Audiovisual Institute, Viviane Ferreira, Jucimara Cruz, and Shirlene Reis; dancer and choreographer Naldo Brito; writer and former Sacatar resident Cris Rosa; and members of the Ilhas das Crianças Association, Toni Cerqueira and Mateus Carvalho. Audiovisual artist Silas Fernandes and former Sacatar resident and board member Tom Correia also attended the event.
