Cartoonist, illustrator, and painter Cau Gomez (2021 Sacatar resident) has won the Grand Prize at the 46th International Nasreddin Hodja Cartoon Contest 2026 in Turkey.
The jury for the 46th Nasreddin Hodja International Cartoon Contest 2026, composed of Darko Drljevic, Klaus Pitter, Metin Peker, Nuri Köksal, and Yiğit Özgür, met in Istanbul on June 6, 2026, to evaluate the submitted entries. This year’s contest attracted 580 cartoonists from 60 countries, who submitted approximately 1,600 cartoons. Following a five-stage evaluation process.
